Colorado is located in the Rocky Mountains, the state capital is Denver.It is considered to be a part of Western and Southwestern regions of the U.S. . In winter, it gets very very cold  especially up in the mountains.The highest mountain is 14,440 which is called Mount Elbert.It happens to be the highest point of the entire Rocky Mountain range.Colorado is ranked 8th the total area is 104,185 square mile and also the population is 4,301,261 it was the 38th state to become a state.It was First explored by the Spanish in the 16th and 17th centuries,so it's very old If you ever have a chance to go to Colorado you should go!! Down below you can see some pictures of Colorado,they are very cool!!!!!
